Jean-Pierre Normand is a professional artist who recently won an Aurora Award (the Canadian equivelant 
of the Hugo Award, which is given out each year at the World Science Fiction Convention) for Best 
Artistic Achievement.  He has had a number of paintings published, including covers on ON SPEC 
magazine and SCIENCE FICTION AGE.
